Excellence is a great starting point for any new organization and also is an unending journey. Excellence talks about going little beyond what we expect from ourselves and the major drivers of excellence are internal. So with the available resources, infrastructure and manpower, Vidya Pratishthan’s School of Architecture (VPSOA) is on the path of achieving excellence and for this we need wholehearted support and active participation from every student, and faculty of this institute.
One of the founding tenets of VPSOA is to promote the academic interests of the students of rural background, in the context of the ever-increasing competition within, and globalization of the technical education.
VPSOA, in turn, provides its students with enhanced global visibility, a wide range of contacts & professionals networking opportunities, academic scholarships, cost–beneficial services, information, and necessary guidance. Helping staff and students to learn from each other is at the heart of the VPSOA’s mission.
VPSOA is leading the way in supporting new ideas of students and staff, and keeps a watchful eye on the development of key issues and trends in the Architectural education, and alerts our students and faculty in time. VPSOA’s key strengths are its capacities to provide an ever widening range of academic services for its students, to promote its faculty in the national; international arena, and facilitating academic dialogue between VPSOA and the institutes of higher learning in India and abroad. It further provides forums for interfacing with the civil society through collaborative lectures and facilitates grater communication through e-enabled medium.
A number of ‘support’ schemes and in-campus services are made available to the students of this institution, which can often provide substantial cost saving as well as make their stay comfortable during graduation. These invaluable additional tools in turn are more useful in developing institutional strategy. VPSOA strives to contribute to advocacy of quality improvement of Architectural education and its internationalization, and mainstreaming the educationally deprived sections of the society.

Architecture is a profession at the interface of theory and practice. Architects and urban designers are major stakeholders in shaping society. The design of the built environment and its interaction with life play a key role in the development of human settlements, livability, and our growth as socio-cultural beings. Vidya Pratishthan’s School for Architecture abides by the ideology that Encouraging young individuals, nurturing their Creativity, and Molding them into Socially Sensitive Architects and Urban Designers are the key motto that drives the smooth working of the institution.
Over the years since its establishment in 2010, VPSOA has stood by its prime objective of providing quality education to enable youth from secondary and tertiary level cities to be at par with the youth of primary cities in terms of practical and technical knowledge, thus making them competent on national and international platforms.
Most of the VPSOA alumni today are pursuing successful careers in various fields such as Government Jobs, Semi-Government Institutions, Private Multinational Institutions, Research Institutions as well as many have opted to start their own practice and firms. Along with the professional excellence of the alumni, a few continue to pursue higher education in deemed universities abroad.
The Institute will continue to make the students into successful individuals and responsible citizens
